Remember our latest blog post about Rumah Atsiri Indonesia? Well, now the company has just branched out to Jakarta as it opens a second establishment named Atsiri diSarinah in Sarinah on June 2, 2022. With an area of 300 square meters, Atsiri diSarinah is a miniature of its Karanganyar counterpart, except for the fact that its concept has been adapted to the liking of millennials.

The opening of Atsiri diSarinah was inaugurated by Minister of Cooperatives & SMEs Teten Masduki, Rumah Atsiri Indonesia founder Natasha Clairine, PT. Sarinah commissioner Leonard Theosabrata, and public figures Raden Prisya and Andien Aisyah.

"With the concept of an aromatic wellness playground, we try to educate young people about the richness of Indonesia's essential oils through a fun and experimental approach," Natasha Clairine said in an interview with Fimela.

"We decided to open a second location in Jakarta to be closer to our customers, and we chose Sarinah because it has a long history, just like our company," she further added.

While the concept is different, those who visit Atsiri diSarinah can still enjoy the same multi-sensorial experience as they would in Rumah Atsiri Indonesia, such as touching and smelling essential oil crops. The main attractions in Atsiri diSarinah are perhaps an interactive mini-museum of aromatherapy and a restaurant which provides an aromatic dining experience.
