Companies and countries define corporate social responsibility (CSR) in different ways. Some prefer other names such as sustainable development. But essentially CSR is the idea that companies have a responsibilities to the society and the natural environment, often beyond that of legal compliance.
“CSR is not a particular programme; it is what we do every day, maximizing positive impact and minimizing negative impact.”
Our CSR is focused towards improving supply chain, the environment, human rights, sustainability and ethics & ethical trading because a company cannot work alon; it is a part of a bigger system of people, values, other organizations and nature.
We aim to reduce the impact on the environment through a commitment to continuous improvement. We will continue to work with our partners to reduce any negative impacts on the environment by applying Responsible Care to all activities, assessing the environmental impact and reporting these findings transparently to all stakeholders.
