corporate social responsibility (CSR)

Companies and countries define corporate social responsibility (CSR) in different ways. Some prefer other names such as sustainable development. But essentially CSR is the idea that companies have a responsibilities to the society and the natural environment, often beyond that of legal compliance.

“CSR is not a particular programme; it is what we do every day, maximizing positive impact and minimizing negative impact.”

Our CSR is focused towards improving supply chain, the environment, human rights, sustainability and ethics & ethical trading because a company cannot work alon; it is a part of a bigger system of people, values, other organizations and nature.

We aim to reduce the impact on the environment through a commitment to continuous improvement. We will continue to work with our partners to reduce any negative impacts on the environment by applying Responsible Care to all activities, assessing the environmental impact and reporting these findings transparently to all stakeholders.

Program

SUPPLY CHAIN INITIATIVES

In February 2020, we helped the farmers by providing them seedlings, fertilizers and encouraged them to use the organic fertilizer and pesticide. We also introduced them some new planting and distilling techniques in order to get better yield.

INTIATIVES TAKEN TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY DURING FLOOD

In January 2020, severe flooding hit Gunung Putri, Bogor due to one week of heavy rain. There were lot of people affected by that. Therefore, we worked with the local authorities to rescue the people, helped them repair their houses and also fulfilled their basic necessities like food, groceries and others.

DONATIONS AND AID INITIATIVES

We usually help children in some orphanages with their education. The help is in form for books, stationaries or financial aid. We also support NGOs to take care children's food, maintenance for the orphanage buildings and others.
